Anniversaries are not a daily occurrence, they happen once in a year. The fact that they are still together shows the couple that they love each other.

There are also some people who remarry on their anniversary. It could be on the 20th or 10th or any such anniversary year. They repeat their vows on this year, and they go on a second honey moon.
